America’s alien epicenter had some unknown visitors earlier this year, as unidentified flying objects have been spotted in the sky near several military bases in Nevada, including Area 51.
Witnesses have spotted swarms of drone-like objects around Nellis Air Force Base, which includes Area 51, as early as January. The sightings have continued throughout this year, and a bystander told The Daily Mail that one of the mysterious vehicles in the sky looked like “a big fireball in a cube.”
Someone who lives seven miles from Nellis says they’ve seen these strange lights in the sky “every night” for two months, and another resident said what they’ve seen in the sky “wasn’t flashing like a regular aircraft [or] like a satellite.”

Apparently, this has been going on as far back as 2020, with at least one person saying there have been aerial lights in the area “over 100 times.” As the number of reported sightings has grown, alien experts have called for the U.S. government to provide answers and transparency about what’s been going on, including General Glen VanHerck of North American Aerospace Defense Command and Enigma Labs consultant Alejandro Rojas.
“Typically, sightings near bases such as Nellis and Area 51 where there are a lot of experimental aircraft being tested are assumed to be advanced technology under development,” Rojas said. “However, given the admission that UAV are flying in secured airspace over other Air Force bases, we need to take a closer look at these.”
Area 51 has become synonymous with alien sightings in the U.S. since it was built nearly 70 years ago. The highly secretive Air Force Base is believed by many to be where the government may be keeping its secret knowledge about aliens, with some going so far as to speculate that aliens have been kept there.
Maybe the aliens are visiting Area 51 to see if the rumors are true and the feds really are hiding a spaceship of some kind in there. Or maybe they just wanted to take a pitstop on their way to Vegas.
