Former Bachelor Clayton Echard has ditched the roses and seems to have found himself in the middle of a different reality show, The Maury Povich Show. Echard has been embroiled in a scandal for the last month after an anonymous woman accused him of impregnating her with twins after a one-night stand in May, though the reality star maintains that they only engaged in oral sex.



“Listen, it's Friday and you know what we need on a Friday? We need some good news and who's got the good news today? I got the good news…Well, test results came back early and they said little to no fetal DNA present. Let’s go, baby!” Echard exclaimed. “I knew this was going to happen. Thankfully five months of torture can finally be put to rest.”


The anonymous woman's now-deleted claims, which she posted on the Bachelor subreddit, allege that Echard had been increasingly hostile to her, so “hostile” that she petitioned for an order of protection from him.


In her since-deleted Reddit post, the anonymous woman stated, “Clayton's behavior caused me to be borderline-suicidal twice, simply because I have felt panicked about raising twins on my own.”



“I needed reassurance that he would help care for them and he could not provide it,” She continued. “Clayton knew that if I took my own life, I would be ending the lives of our unborn twins. I truly believe that is what he wanted, as it would solve all of his problems.”


The whole scandal has been an intense back-and-forth on social media but thankfully Echard, who is no stranger to false accusations, quickly went full NCIS mode on his anonymous accuser, taking to Instagram to say, “I think two false accusations in a lifetime is enough,” referring to a different scandal that happened right after his season of The Bachelor where a woman alleged that he cheated on his final pick, Susie Evans, with her in New York.


Echard, who at the time, quickly turned into Nancy Drew and provided evidence that he was in Arizona at the time in question, has now again debunked false claims against himself, taking a paternity test and sharing the (literal) receipts, that he is not the father of his anonymous accuser’s unborn twins.



We don’t know why false accusations follow Clayton Echard (who is known as the most boring Bachelor) but at this point, he should have Maury Povich on speed dial.
