Whoever came up with the hashtag #CreamerNation for the branding on International Delight (owned by Danone North America) creamer is a freak, or at least they know the rest of us are. The bottles feature in small print, “Creamer Nation UNITE,” inviting people to use the hashtag on social media.
In a video originally posted by @chiagoziem, with over 11 million views, a man can be heard laughing and saying “What the fuck, I’m not gonna use this fuckin’ hashtag, man” while filming the bottle of creamer.
Though not all the reactions in the comments were as dismissive of the #CreamerNationn hashtag.
As @friendshipcowboy, wrote, “I’m not into nationalism, but creamer-nationalism?” And @kvnxee declared “I’m a proud member of #CreamerNation.”

One user, @nauti_cali pointed out the phallic vibe of the creamer's bottle, “I mean…you’ve seen the shape of the spout, right? Can’t ever unsee it lmao.”
People on Twitter are having fun with the hashtag and users like @Safiquita have begun referring to themselves as “Creamers.”
“I love @indelight creamer in my coffee. It is so scrumptious and delicious and I need more. Creamers rise up and do what you do best #CreamerNation”

Whether or not the hashtag actually helps sell more coffee creamer is yet to be seen, but for those of you putting creamer in your coffee, think twice before you share a snap of your morning cup on Twitter with the hashtag #CreamerNation, as you’ll see just how inclusive the global community is.
