One man takes pest control to a whole new level. A video of a man constructing miniature historical torture devices to kill cockroaches has gone viral.


The origin of the video is unclear. One version of it was posted to Reddit eight months ago. From the quality of the video, it seems to be much older than that. Nevertheless, the act of violence against the bomb-resistant bug is shocking.



The roach is seen stabbed by a motorized device, electrocuted on an electric chair, and put into a miniature iron maiden.


“Ion like bugs either….. but this [is] literally overkill” commented @kiss_bliss under the video.



Whoever the mastermind behind this was, he definitely denied the roach's request to “let them eat cake” as he was beheaded in the guillotine. Who is this guy and how can we be very far away from him? The first sign of serial killers is harming animals. But many asked, do roaches count?



“Oh god we got roach activists now,” said @varcmus as countless people were defending the roaches' lives.


As annoying as cockroaches can be, a little borax and sugar (as long as you don’t ingest it) do the job perfectly fine. We don't need to be constructing our own miniature incinerators to cremate a roach.
