Fish dicks, anyone? Most people will go their whole lives without knowing about the existence of "penis fish." Well, for those of you reading this, your life will be forever enriched by knowing that these magical creatures in fact exist. Oh yeah, they also apparently have golden butt spines.
Penis fish, also know as fat innkeeper worms, are actually quite common along the west coast, however, they spend their whole lives living a few feet below the sand so hardly anyone ever sees them. A powerful storm washed and blew away their cover this week, leaving thousands to pulsate and wiggle around on Drakes Beach, which is around 50 miles north of San Francisco.
Twitter had quite a day with this news as you would expect. Here are some of the reactions to "penis fish."
Really enjoying how disturbed men seem to be of the penis fish picture. Now imagine being a woman and getting sent dick pics you don't want. #mustbehardfellas #penisfish

For those of you wondering about the #PenisFish or #InnkeeperWorm, if the phallic image isn’t enough, just remember they also have #ButtSpines. https://t.co/Z4a1t2PTH9

I'm uncomfortable that both #adultstockingstuffers and a mass influx of #penisfish are trending. As a child if you were naughty you got coal in your stocking. This year, as an adult you get a sallow, flaccid penis fish, still cold from the sea.

#chinese #eat #penisfish too. We either roast it or stir fry it. It is very chewy https://t.co/FdEvVZjQyi pic.twitter.com/OlAooxRRxQ
