A lesson in physics, ladies and gentlemen.
It’s one of the most elementary concepts in physics: If you have a balanced object and then put a heavy thing on one side of it, the other side is going to tip upwards in response. As evidenced by the invention of the teeter-totter, this is so simple that even children understand it.
However, sometimes, such easy concepts are lost when working on bigger projects. For example, this crane was tasked with lifting up a heavy piece of concrete, and despite the best efforts of the two dudes sitting on the opposite side, that small piece was more than enough to send the crane upside-down.
