If you Google “malk” — first of all, why? — but second, you’ll be met with a website for a brand of plant-based milk alternatives.
According to the site, “MALK Organics” creates GMO-free non-dairy milks for the lactose intolerant or those who simply want to drink non-dairy milk, all packaged up with Gen-Z-friendly minimalist labels.
This brand seems fine. Unfortunately, their entire marketing team is going to be thrown into an absolute goddamn hurricane if a certain TikTok trend gets any bigger.
What trend, you might ask? In short, one user has gone viral after creating what he calls “Malk.” This involves pouring milk into a single outdoor spot every day and just seeing what happens. Apparently, this TikToker has been at it for almost two years.

The first video in the series shows someone pouring chocolate milk onto a pile of a rotting substance, presumably milk. Why this TikToker decided to start doing this is anyone’s guess — I’ve DMed him, but he hasn’t replied. Regardless of the reason, he doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon, posting several update videos showing additions to the malk pile.

In the comments section, after getting their references to Julian Smith’s Malk video out of the way, users shared their thoughts about the TikToker's decision to do whatever the hell this is. “One day some janitor is gonna have to scrub that off the table for 25 minutes,” wrote a user. “How has this happened for 514 days without it getting cleaned or someone getting in trouble?” asked a second.
Unbelievably, many users also claimed to have done the same thing. “I DID SUM SIMILAR TO THIS… I put like 5 milk cartons under the salad bar in October and lasted until April,” stated one commenter. “Dude omg my friends and I did this in high school on a piece of sidewalk,” offered another.
Above all, this really shows how kids have changed — by which I mean, back in my day, we would have definitely already dared someone to eat it.
