You never know what you could learn today.
The world is full of interesting facts just waiting to be discovered. Some of it is actually useful, like learning how to 'seal' a partially opened can of food. Other things are just cool and interesting, like the creepy-a** outfits medieval beekeepers used to wear (Side note: I'm pretty sure this inspired the look for the Brewess crone in 'Witcher 3').
Either way, being more knowledgeable makes you a more interesting person, and who wouldn't want that?
