A near-death experience (NDE) is exactly what it sounds like - it's when someone came extremely close to actually dying and maybe even did actually medically 'die' for a short moment before they came back to the world. What's interesting to note is that while people had different experiences, one general theme seems to be a moment of acceptance that usually occurs in the last few seconds.
