On Tuesday, March 28, Amsterdam officials unveiled their latest tourism initiative, launching a campaign to keep rowdy Britian-based men between 18 and 35 the fuck away from their fine establishment.
Consisting of a video warning of the dangers of indulging in excessive alcohol consumption, drugs or getting up to hooligan-esque shenanigans, the clip will appear when Britsh tourists Googling items like “pub crawl Amsterdam,” “stag party Amsterdam” and “cheap hotel Amsterdam.”
“Coming to Amsterdam to take drugs + lose control = hospital trip + permanent health damage = worried family,” reads part of the text included in one clip: “So coming for drugs to Amsterdam? Stay away.”
