Every once in a while, a restaurant screws up. There’s a lot going on in your average eatery, so it’s understandable that, every so often, something will slip by them, or a customer will do something bad that they don’t notice.

You just really hope that thing isn’t pissing into the hot pot.

Yes, it seems that Chinese hotpot chain Haidilao is apologizing and compensating over 4,000 diners who had visited one of its outlets in Shanghai after video emerged of two men pissing into one of their hotpots. The worst part? The incident occurred on February 24th, and they didn’t manage to find the location in question until March 6th.

But don’t worry: If you’re in Shanghai, they’ve taken care of it and your meal now won’t have piss in it. Probably.
