Pokémon cards are no longer just trading cards for a game you’ll never actually play. Like seemingly everything these days, collectors are now pitching the pieces of cardboard as an investment vehicle, with people lining up for hours before each drop in hopes of getting some rare card that they can flip for a profit.

Given just how much money can occasionally be on the line — some singular cards on sale right now command over $1,000 — it’s understandable that tensions surrounding card releases can run a little high. Understandable, sure, but isn’t there some part of you that feels just a *little* bit embarrassed about coldcocking someone over a mind condition Bidoof?
