In some cases, this isn’t necessarily the worst thing; burning of the buildup of dead, dry biomass is necessary for the health of our ecosystem. In other cases, it *is* the worst thing — what if I, uh, built my house in the middle of all that dead, dry biomass? It looked so peaceful at the time!
