A few years ago, a lot of different companies realized you could just buy a foam mattress, slap your own label on it, then flip it for an incredible profit. As a result, about a million different “mattress to your door” companies sprung up overnight, with most of them selling the same sort of shitty, IKEA-level mattress.

Now, that market has largely died, as people either already have a mattress, are willing to spend more on their mattress, or really do not give enough of a shit to seek out a mattress beyond the first three results on the Amazon search.

If you do order a mattress nowadays, however, it will generally come rolled up. You have to be careful when unrolling it. Otherwise, you might be hit with something like this:
