Flying isn't fun, that we can all agree on. But what most of us cannot agree on is how early we should arrive at the airport to ensure we don't end up like these poor women, two minutes late and on the wrong side of their gate's door. 

Now, if you do find yourself in this situation, chances that whatever you decide to do to actually get yourself on your flight is up to you, but just know, once those doors have closed, you aren't getting on that plane. 

But that didn't stop these women from commandeering the intercom and demanding a manager come help them get on their flight. A plan that proved futile as no manager showed up and the two were left with no other option but to bang on the door in hopes that someone was actually standing behind just waiting to let them in. 

So while the jury is still out on if three hours is enough prep time for catching a flight, you know who didn't miss their flight that day? The dad who forced his family to arrive at the airport four hours before theirs.
